Celebrate with Jeremiah with us! 

• Jeremiah Armstead is a young 19 year old who has officially started his freshman year at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. He was officially recruited to play basketball for the university.

• Armstead, who graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School this spring, was at a friend's house when he found out he was accepted into Fisk 

• He is studying kinesiology at the historically black college. 

• During his sophomore year in high school he experienced homeless and lived in domestic violence shelters when after moving to California with his mother, brother, and sister.

• The family of four has spent the past three years sleeping in their car and domestic violence shelters while battling housing insecurity 

• His classmates were unaware that he didn't have a home and often wondered why he would get dropped off at 7-Eleven
